This year, the theme for International Women's Day is "Choose to Challenge," encouraging individuals to challenge gender bias and inequality, celebrate women's achievements, and create a more inclusive world.

Here are some of the reasons why International Women’s Day is so important:

  1. Celebrating Women's Achievements: International Women's Day is a day to recognize and celebrate women's contributions to society. It is an opportunity to highlight the accomplishments of women in all fields, including science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), politics, arts, and more.

  2. Raising Awareness of Gender Inequality: Despite progress in recent years, gender inequality still exists in many parts of the world. International Women's Day is an opportunity to raise awareness of these issues and call for change. It is a day to promote gender equality and empower women to reach their full potential.
